Releasit presents a greener way to clean
Traditional hot water extraction cleaning can easily consume 50 gallons of pure clean water or more to clean 1,000 square feet of carpet. By comparison, if that same carpet were cleaned using the Releasit encapsulation method, the cleaning would only consume about 3.5 gallons of water. That's less than 10% of the water consumption of traditional hot water extraction.
And after the hot water extraction has been completed, the formerly clean water that is now contaminated with chemical and soil from the carpet gets discharged as sewage. With the Releasit encapsulation system, the soil that's extracted from the carpet during the post-vacuuming process is dry soil that ends up in the vacuum cleaner bag.

Additional impacts to the environment occur when a truck-mount extraction system is used, including fossil fuel consumption and the emission of carbon monoxide through engine exhaust. By comparison, the Releasit encapsulation system is performed using a machine with an electric motor running on a standard 15 amp electrical circuit.

The ingredients in all Releasit encapsulation shampoos are safe for the environment
They are biodegradable and they contribute minimal impact to the environment. Ruining the earth should not be a side-effect of carpet cleaning. But sometimes a particular account may request a “green” product, and Bio-Encap is the product to use.
